I'm currently in Dubai for a couple of days and during my travelings by metro I noticed one very smart quote/slogan.
It was done by local electronics store Sharaf DG that went by like this:

"IF WE DON'T HAVE IT, YOU GET IT FREE."
I read it while I was walking towards the metro exit and at first moment it was just another slogan, but in a second I read it again and then it punched me in face and made me a big smile form cheeck to cheek.
Today I walked back to the station to take this picture and had idea to create a thread about smart, bold, catchy quotes, slogans or headlines that caught your attention recently such as this one caught mine.
Another one that I saw a few days ago in BOSE store something along these line: "IF YOU HAVE A HEARING FOR SOUND SOONER OR LATER YOU WILL OWN A BOSE."
Yes, I was shopping for my noise cancelling headphones.
Ka-ching.
Business in Dubai is taken on a whole different level and I really enjoy every moment when I get to the city and notice all those small details, triggers and UPSELLS.
Upsells are here on every step, every buying action you are making usually ends up with upsells:

* terms and condition apply
Haha, I am sure they do
One of my favorite ones from a big electronics distributor here in MX was: "If we don't have it, it doesn't exist".
They had quite a big and unique warehouse with lots of stuff. Too bad they went out of business because it was all gray market after a few years.
"Maybe she's born with it. Maybe it's Maybelline." - Maybelline
^^ that's my favorite! Great share Erik!
"Just Do It" remains in my mind as the quintessential million-dollar slogan. It transitioned the company from specialized/dangerously esoteric appeal to broad appeal without losing its recognizable, yet deliciously narrow angle (performance improvement, whether personal or activity-based).
I'm biased, of course. I served Dan Wieden as a young(er) bartender back in Portland often. Their office was around the corner. I won't lie about some inspirational quote or slipped tip. He was just really nice, and obviously respected by his dinner group, whoever they were. When I later learned who exactly he was and the work his company did, that not only made him a rockstar in my mind, it set me on a career path ("that guy had fun doing what? ...and now he's living like that??"). Now I live in Amsterdam a few minutes from the W+K office here. Big fan of their work over the years.
Mastercard is also one of my favorites. Timeless, not too cheesy and containing a strong, identifiable message.
"If we don't have it you get it for free" reminds me of a pub in England with a permanent "Free beer tomorrow" sign behind the bar.
