Hey there,

first of all welcome to STM!

Did you already decide what vertical you want to tap into? This questions is quite important to answer your question about the right traffic sources.

Also I recommend you to sign up with more affiliate networks, so you can have offers to choose from.

Regarding tracker you can take a look at Voluum (cloud based) or FunnelFlux (self hosted), both start at the same price line.
For the first you don't need any VPS, but the price will raise as you will grow and start to send more traffic to it.
The second one on the other side will require a solid VPS which can bit pricey for starting out.

For VPS you can checkout Digital Ocean and Vultr, they are both solid, can start as cheap as $5/month and grow up from there with you.

Welcome to the forum (it's great here, and you'll be sure to find answers to your questions).

I work with tracking, so I'll jump right into that.

I reccommend Adsbridge. We are a tracking software, TDS, and Landing Page builder. We have competitive pricing (starting at 29$/month).
We offer a 30-day free trial, so you won't have to spend money on getting the handle of tracking.
We're cloud hosted, and have a highly responsive support team.

Whatever your choice, good luck to you! Feel free to PM with any specific questions! General questions should be posted to the forum at large, so ask away.

Sorry to hijack here but I figure this question would also be beneficial to the OP.

What would be the differences and advantages/disadvantages with using AdsBridge compared to Voluum? There seems to be a significant delta in price so how would that impact what we're all trying to do?

Thanks!

I would get a 1gb vps from cloudways (you can choose digital ocean)

They give you a simple control panel so you have have your website up quickly and it's all optimised to be fast

Definitely check out Adsbridge, it's a great tracker to get started with

I always try to think positively - but the reality is that $1000 will probably not be enough.

You can save on hosting by hosting your pages on amazon cloudfront (CDN), but to be honest, that's not a lot of savings compared to other expenses. Tracking software + STM subscription are very basic expenses. If you need to use landing pages, then Adplexity would be another must-have. Just these services alone will cost you somewhere between $200-300/month. Your $1000 will not cover these for long.

And none of those expenses will compare to the money you'll need to spend on traffic. Unfortunately, there's no such thing as "traffic sources appropriate for those who have limited budget". In order to find success, you'll need to test a lot of things: Lots of offers, lots of landers, lots of banners (if you're running display traffic), different bids and campaign targeting options, etc. This is true no matter which traffic network you buy traffic from.

You need to find a way to make some money to fund your campaigns - whether it be to get a second job, or offer freelancing services online. You'll need to have at least several hundred of dollars available to spend on traffic every month to have a chance of succeeding.

Or maybe you meant you have a budget of $1000/month? If that's the case, please clarify, and I'll do my best to make some suggestions on how you can get started on minimal test budget.

Hi there! I'm an AdsBridge representative as well. In comparision, AdsBridge has some great features. We offer a Landing Page creator and editor within our system, which allows for having everything in one place. We also have daily capping, multi-user access, highly responsive customer support, and competitive pricing (plans start at 29$ / month, 25$/ a month if paid annualy). One of our more unique features is campaign autooptimization. This allows for optimization to occur all day. We also have a free trial, which lets people who are starting out to save a monthly payment while they learn tracking/AM in general.
Hope this helps!

Hi @fap911,

At Voluum's current pricing (the lowest PRO plan costs 99$ per month) the offered services are cost efficient in regards to the functionality available therein. Please also note that compared to some other trackers, within Voluum there are no additional external fees for server hosting or internal fees to gain access to additional features (like Bot blacklist tool used for bot filtering or Multi-user management tool which enables our clients to grant shared access to their account).

Thanks to our cloud-based solution with 9 data centers worldwide, you can run high ammont of traffic, you can scale easily, plus you get all the reports in real-time. Re-targeting options and A/B testing will help you to get better results from your campaigns.

What is more - soon we will be releasing a feature called Campaign Insights, which will automatically check what combination of parameters is performing best/worst for you - so you will basically be able to optimize your campaigns more easily and much faster.

Recently, we have also rolled out some new features - such as the Bot blacklist tool, Event log. We have also integrated with Zeropark lately, so if you are using (or willing to use) this traffic source, you will be able to control your Zeropark campaigns directly from Voluum Tracker. There are also some other upcoming features we are working on, so it’s worth to keep an eye on our Tracker.

PM me if you want to get more detailed overview of each features or if you have any further queries regarding Voluum.

Best,
Wioleta
