Combine lander with simple SOI offer. Possible?

Hello fellow Money Stackers!

This is my first thread on this forum and this question has bothered me for a while now and I haven't been able to find answer to this question anywhere. Also, english is not my native language so I hope I can get my point across well enough.

Let's say I promote simple lead gen SOI offer with my own survey type lander where user has to answer few simple questions after that being redirected to the actual SOI offer to fill out form.

So instead of directing user to the offer page where he/she has to fill out all the details, would it be possible to add similar form to my actual lander and pass this data somehow directly to the offer page? If done correctly I think this could massively improve my ROI, but I'm not sure is this even possible.

I guess I would have to use something along the lines of <form action="http://offer-form-url" method="post"> where I submit form directly to offer page and I don't have problem with that as I have technical background but my question is - is this even possible due to all tracking issues or any other issues that I may have not considered?

Thanks!

Technically speaking, this is doable, but in order to do this you need special agreement with an advertiser, you can't do this with the regular offers available at affiliate networks. You could also collect the leads for your self and resell them to other advertisers, even multiple ones at a time - this is called co-reg. I personally don't have much experience with this, so can't really give you qualified advice on this - let's see if anyone who has done this will chime in.

Ah, yes... very valid points Matuloo. Also this approach would make it easy for advertiser to see my landers without implementing some sort of 'bridge' between lander and the offer to protect my assets. I guess I have to stick with the old and proven methods for now :-)

When making a deal like this with some advertiser, they would most likely actually ask you to show them the landers, in order to make sure you're not doing some fishy tricks or breaking some laws. I wouldn't worry about it too much tho, it's a different type of business model. Then again, people who buy co-reg leads probably don't care all that much about the obtaining method ... I really don't want to mislead you cause I really don't have experience with this I also don't want to tell you to stay away from it, just make sure you research it properly before moving on with it

They'd need to be setup to pre-pop the form or take an API post on the frontend. Also depends if they're paying you for the data they may not want it diluted by you capturing and monetizing.

You could always do that yourself as well. Capture a SOI and monetize the data. Then move them to some sort of a sales funnel.

As an example we did this with a BMI calculator. Had then user enter weight, height and email to get the results. The. On the second page we had a long form sales Letter selling a diet product. We got emails while making a profit. Then had a long term revenue stream by building out an email drips series selling them other weight loss related stuff.

Hey,

I've been running similar offers before, but with email traffic.

The signup formula would be pre filled when the subscriber clicked on my tracking link.
It looked something like this: http:xxxxx=Mjg4ODg%3Dk9x&form[email]=%7Bemail%7D&form[firstname]=%7Bfirstname%7D&form[lastname]=%7Blastname%7D

It increased CR% a lot for me.

@phenix, I believe this is what you are trying to achieve, right?

If this is the case and an additional deal with the advertiser is required, then how to split-test landers and have the optin from the user that is going to convert?
Do we have to work over the lander supplied by the advertiser, alter the design and then pass it for approval?
