PopAds auto-cost tracking on Voluum isn't accurate. Fix possible?

I used traffic source template to load popads on Voluum. Haven't made much custom changes.

It seems like the cost data pull from popads is not accurate on my Voluum account. It's usually reported 50% of actual cost on voluum. It's not even exactly 50% either, only roughly. (ex. $21.56 on popads -> $9.73 on voluum)

Here is my example.

Are my settings wrong?

This is normal. And the differences in percentage will vary for each geo and other targeting options.

Aside from updating Voluum costs manually, or writing a script to automate the process, I don't know of any other way to fix this issue so that costs are accurately reflected.

I've gotten used to doing math in my head when looking at popads camp stats in Voluum. e.g. If I know the actual cost of a specific camp is usually twice of what's shown in Voluum, I would just multiply costs by 2 in my head.

The important thing is being aware of the percentage difference so that you're not keeping a campaign running thinking it's profitable based on Voluum stats, when you're actually losing money. I've been caught many times by this due to carelessness.

On top of this here is a small tip to not forgetting about the percentage difference:

Simply put a note in your campaign name, something like - "30% clickloss".

That's a great idea! May be easier on the emotions to put "x 1.3" rather than the word "clickloss".

Logging into Voluum to see a whole bunch of camps with "clickloss" in the name isn't exactly encouraging.

you can set Cost model manual at Voluum
for example if your CPM in popads is $1
set CPC at Voluum 0.002
it will fix problem %95

The whole problem I see with this and also updating costs in general is that some sources like Popads have dynamic costs not fixed.
So for each zone/traffic combination you can pay different amounts per visit.

It will fix the problem to get the overall costs right, but once we are doing optimisation we have to count the real costs, so the best solution is to export both tracker reports and traffic source reports and match them based on zone ID to count the REAL costs.
