Hey STMers,*

RC has a new feature called 'Interest' Targeting that i've been testing recently with great results so far (have been testing it for less then 72 hours though)

I wanted to ask if anyone had some cool tips, tricks or hints to maximise the new feature.

Of course it's subjective in terms of everyone's niches etc, but if you have some general hints you've picked up thus far it would be great to share here ;-)

Thanks for starting the thread. Happy to hear your first thoughts. What have you tested so far, to see great results?

I've been using with some success too.

I would recommend:

1. Interest category, RON, with your country you're targeting
2. Hone down on good widget_ids. Create a whitelist and blacklist.
3. Create new brand targeting for the whitelist widget_ids.

You get finer control over bids, and the marketing message you can use for the whitelisted widget_ids.

So Far I've just tried a product in the Health & Wellbeing Niche... Funnily enough though i wasn't sure what INTERESTS to use so literally 'pinged' the product owner on skype. They were more then happy to help and based on his recommendations i opened up the interests campaign and sales spiked on Day 1.

I would say though, the mobile traffic hasn't been as profitable (i launched with DESKTOP only)

However it still is early days.

I recommend setting up a whitelist campaign with an interest targeting per campaign so you have finer control over ads and bids for that interest targeting.

Don't forget to cloak your outgoing link to the advertiser so that they can't steal your lander and use a page lock so adplexity won't reveal your page.
