Looking for a worldwide cities database (5)

Hi guys !

Im looking for an international database (sql) with the biggest amount of cities & latitude and longitude.
I would like also that the cities will maintain their original names, even if the names are in any other alphabet. ( Like Chineese or Cyrillic ).

I found some databases like:

You can also checkout some of the geoip databases out there such as:

• Maxmind GeoIP2 City Database
• DB-IP IP address to location
• IP2Location IP-Country-Region-City Database
• IPLigence

Each of these has cities DBs.

However I think most of them maintain city names in English.

GeoNames looks like what you need: it's got multiple names for cities, aggregated from a pretty huge collection of sources.
