Does Anyone Use Payoneer? (11)

Does Anyone Use Payoneer?

Hello,

I've recently signed us up to Payoneer to use alongside our bank.

I have an issue though that they don't show the company name on the account statements, they only show the contact person's name. We are incorporated in Austria, and it's a bit stricter here with all these financial statements from things like Payoneer, PayPal, Skrill, etc.

Tried reaching out to Payoneer support but it seems impossible.

Does anyone have a contact there? Or maybe someone has enough experience that they can help me with them?

Cheers,
Manu.

Yes, we work with them as a payment option for our publishers. Very happy with their service.
Hit me up on skype if you want me to intro you to our account manager there.

When I'm using services like this, I request the info directly from the company that is sending me payments this way. Then I tell my accountant what username (name) belongs to what company and she pairs it in the records. I think she handles it the same way she does a bank. So in the accounting it looks like : invoice for $1000 to company A, paid via "payoneer" under name "A" - screenshot attached.

That works as well indeed. If you work with a limited number of partners this solution will suit you. If you work with a few hunderrd/thousand affiliates this is a very labor intensive approach and its better to automate it.

You as an affiliate network have all the data for anyone who you are sending payouts to, right? So you know exactly who you are sending the payment to and don't need to figure this out anywhere, so you can automate the process of course.

The problem Manu has, is on the other side of the fence - he received the payment from some company and doesn't have all the data for them that he needs. At least I believe this is the case. I used a similar service to get paid from about 100 companies and it was one massive headache to get all the data from them in order to be able to invoice them properly. Gotta love our tax system I'm not sure if this can be automated in any way as companies like payoneer or paxum don't give any personal data to either side of the transaction. Or is there a way to get it from them?

I'm using them to receive money for 5 years or so, but not as a company. In my country (UE as well) it's mandatory to have the company name clearly stated. If it says Your Name - $xxxx you can't register that payment in your company's name. Last time I checked with payoneer (maybe 1 year ago) they didn't allow business accounts or any extra field where to write your company name and be shown in statements.

I doubt anything has changed, but I usually get in touch with them via live chat: https://payoneer.custhelp.com/app/chat/chat_launch (you sometimes have to wait 20-30 minutes).

Thanks everyone.

They allow company accounts but their Account Statements that you can export have not been adjusted. They still only show the contact person.

So say Network A pays us, it shows Network A name usually but it shows they paid ME (Manu), not my company. Even though I am just the contact, account has legal entity name everywhere else but the Account Statement, and it works fine aside from that one part.

We would use that just like a bank account statement, but without the legal entity name, it looks strange. More than not ideal.

I will get in touch Chris, maybe your account manager can help me. I talked to live support, and it seems they are using $2/day labour from some dirt poor country. I need someone higher up their ranks, that has an understanding of the difference between company legal name and account contact name.

Ah, so the problem is that the statement doesn't have you company info on it? Photoshop is your friend The officials don't even know what payoneer is so they won't be able to check But don't tell them they advice came from me

I do the same. In my accounting Payoneer, PayPal etc. are treated as bank accounts. We use Payoneer for Amazon Associates.
