Revcontent/Voluum Tracking Link Issue
We are setting up campaigns with Voluum and Revcontent. We noticed only half the info is getting passed from Voluum to Revcontent, instead of all parameters info. Some of our logs have all the info passed, some of our logs don't. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? And how can we troubleshoot?

Hi earlyresponder,
I presume that it's only a portion of the conversions data that is getting passed back, correct?
In any case, if the tokens used for the campaign URL and RC postback URL are constant (unchanged), then the data
should be consistently relayed through.
An exception to this is when either, the data isn't passed in the primary instance (click) from the top-level (RevContent or other) OR there's a mismatch of the parameters sent upon click versus those which are expected by Voluum (based on the TS template).
Both cases will be reflected within your reporting as rows for variables will be populated as
Unknown, instead of valid strings.
Tip: For the latter case - when there's a parameter mismatch, the best way to deduce this is to check your campaign's live visits report in Voluum to check if the inbound clicks (URLs) have the same parameters as defined in the preset RevContent template.
Always best to use a predefined template to lessen any margin of error in this respect
Feel free to PM me if the issue is persistent and we'll troubleshoot it further.
Regards,
Adrian
