Facebook Prices Up 54% Since Q2 and Other Semi-Interesting Stuff

Ok I saw this whitepaper and I thought it was a good share as it may motivate your diversify what your doing. If their predictions are correct its gonna get harder and harder to get that low cpc on FB .....

add to that FB absolute hatered latley of anything aff based....

Def might be a time to exploring/test other options....(I know I am)...

I'll ride the wave and hopefully at the end of it half of my competition will be gone. Although the big brand idiots will remain en force, we affiliates can be like ninja in a paddock full of cows.

forget all that, keep hustling!
once your gets get clicked better, you will get a lower CPC. and since this news is out, at least a ton of them must have quit!

I was able to get a fb account a few days a go and setup a few campaigns and I can tell you that the prices sure have risen higher + with big brands bidding. Even the estimated bid is not accurate, but whatever. ROI's will be lower for a few months.

I've been noticing over the last few days that I'm having to bid near or over the max suggested bid to even get ads to run! /lame

Both accounts I'm running are giving me estimated CPC at .04 to .09 on everything new that I make.. sadly had 22 ads denied today, other ads retro-dissaproved on my one account... so 28/28 dissaproval rate.. and on the other account haven't had one dissaproval, and totally killing it.. Letting some time pass, trying again lol.

also alot of times i don't tweak the bid after a certain point anyways, i'll leave it @ like .38 which IMO is high, and let it lower organically. it normally whittles itself down to .03 for me, (seen .01, not recently though) and slowly raises as the campaign dies/loses hype. not always a rule, but definitely something i've noticed. when I get too greedy and try to bid it down, it normally causes the price to raise and a drop in traffic.

maybe you just gotta find that sweet spot? or just get good CTRs lol

ya that can work esp if your running fanpages.....as people liking the ad counts as a click so fb rewards you with lower cpcs.....the trick is if you can make it work on the fanpage....
