Hi All
Just wondered if anyone knew of any good tutorials on AdPlexity? I have been using it and adjusting filters etc but I don't quite understand how you can identify the campaigns that are doing well.
For instance - if I search by a network I would like to use - and adjust the slider duration to 7 - 14 days (i am presuming that this will show offers that work as they've been running between 7 - 10 days?) it shows campaigns however most of them have between 7 - 10 hits.. so with such low numbers this cannot be a successful campaign?
What other parameters should I go by to pick top rating campaigns that I can influence my campaigns by? Any hints or tips will be appreciated!
Thanks
Have you went through the tutorial?

You should look more for the vertical and for popular affiliate networks and traffic sources.
As great as AdPlexity is, it won't offer you everything on a plate.
Look for the past 30 days based on how long they've been running and volume they've been getting. See which verticals are doing well on certain traffic sources. Go to the top 3 affiliate networks from them and ask for the top offers in that vertical. Rip landers, test and go from there
@day1stacker, hi there. I have had the same doubts about using spying software the first time I was exposed to these tools.
Perhaps what happened to me is useful to you. I kind of have had the wrong expectations of spying software. I believed that it will be a couple clics and I would have a list of 10 great performers to copy, paste, and make it into the deep green. How wrong I was
I started to capitalize from spy SW once I realized I need to invest my effort in the process. Ofcourse, good tools--like adplexity--save us a lot of time, but we need to do our homework as well. Look at the tutorial that xxf8xx referenced in post #2 and apply filters. As manu_adefy said, it is a great idea to dig into a vertical. You can do this by using keywords or offers' URL. It is key that you limit the time you are looking at. I usually care only for ads that were found in the last 15-30 days. You will probably won't find ads that have been running for ages as we tend to optimize and change designs often.
Finally, the sort options (running longer & received most traffic) have been of great value to me.
Hope this helps
Dan.
One tip: The duration and volume in Adplexity are not always accurate.
Hey! I can tell you how I work with AP if I search profitable campaigns:
1) I set these settings:
- Last 7 days
- At least 3 days running
http://take.ms/NyOSi
Why? Because I'll see fresh landers and if people run these campaigns more than 2-3 days, it can be profitable or not so red.
- Country which I need: http://take.ms/ztLQj
- Source which I want to work with: http://take.ms/pHt0z
You can set 3 options (http://take.ms/XzUHA):
1) Newest - you'll see fresh landers which just lunched - it's a good thing if you want to see what's new people are running, fresh offers, landers, angles etc.
2) Running longest - you'll see old landers, but they definitely work because people are running them for a long time
3) Received most traffic - the most popular landers which receive a lot of traffic.
As for me I prefer to set "Received most traffic" and "Newest".
2) The next my step - To look at different landers and check their stats. If I see flat or positive dynamics I can download them and check what this person are running.

In this case a - affiliate's id, c - creative's id. And I can ask my manager in Clickdealer (it's their domain) what offer has this creative number.
Good luck!
Another thing is that you can find out successful affiliates (by using any of the tips above) and then monitor them.
There are some that are specialising in some verticals, so there is big chance that their stuff will work good.
I was just about to open a thread with some of these questions and you guys have given great tips!
.
I too have some doubts about it, I post them here so the answers can be useful to anybody
1. I signed up to Adplexity once but didn't manage to get the best out of it. Because of my inexperience it seemed to me a software useful for those who are running pop traffic than for those who needs banners and relative LPs because I could see more pop-up landers.
2. When I wrote keywords that weren't "dating" or "antivirus" I never received relevant responses (for example I had to promote an offer for an e-books database but for the "e-books" or "book" keyword I received nothing relevant). The most of the banners that I could see (using a mobile DSP platform I needed certain banner sizes) were few, all alike and like these.

3. When all the creatives appeared after a search and I looked at the "affiliate network" settings column in the left side of the screen I realized the most of the creatives came from unknown networks which made me think (I don't know if it's true) that the majority of the creatives there were from advertisers who weren't affiliate marketers but companies that were promoting their product by themselves (for exemple: I build a dating site and use a traffic source to promote it without asking the collaboration to an AN)
Quite confused on Adplexity
Hey check out these case studies. Really useful

Hi All - thank you for your replies they're all very valuable and i'll be trying out some of these ideas, hopefully others find it useful to.
Hey all
Don't know if this is common but i've reviewed some landers and upon finding the offer on my network the LP completely breaks the regulations of the offer..
I submit (similar) LP to my AM and obviously it cannot be approved - is it common for this to happen? or just a bit sneaky?
For instance, count down timers and creating false urgency and/or intending that there is 'limited stock'
Thanks
Yes. A lot of people use aggressive landers and break offer's rules. And it's a part of game. Because often you won't get a good. result without aggressive landers, pop-traffic is not motivated, and we need to motivate people to do a conversion. So you have some ways:
1) Still use aggressive landers (90% people do that)
2) Still use aggressive landers and cloak (it's not so simply now)
3) Ask your AM where you can use aggressive and where you can't - I think that would be that best way.
Hey mrbraun, do you think success is possible without cloacking and/or breaking offer's rules? Both for Pops and display?

I've renewed my subscription with adplexity
but I'm having a little grief.
After reading the tutorial I tried to search for creatives for an offer I wanna run: a classical sweeps "win an iPhone". First I tried to search for offer link and AN but no results. So I searched for keywords "win"; "iPhone" and "win an iPhone" and I downloaded a half dozen banners from various country.
As I tried to search for relative LP all I could find were long popups pages, apps big icon and a ton of "download"-"play" buttons.
So my question is: how do I find the landers I'm interested in (if there's any)? It's just a matter of editing those from popus?
Thank everybody
EDIT. I spent a couple of hours studying Adplexity and I'm getting ok with it so please forgive my question
