Good excel templates/scripts?

Does anyone know of some good excel templates for setting up ppc campaigns and optimizing them?

You don't really need excel templates to optimize campaigns, good tracker will do most of the work for you. The more stable prices you pay per click, the more accurate the numbers will be.

In case where the actual cost per click fluctuates too much, you can use basic excel tables for sure, it's usually possible to paste the data from sources and trackers next to each other in different columns and then just subtract one from another to get the final result.

Could you please elaborate? Are you looking for something to keep track of revenue vs. cost? Or something more complicated?

I saw this and it looks useful. I tried searching for it but I haven't had any luck. But anything that is useful would be good. Thx

What do you mean optimize, do you mean optimize cpa, revenue or return on ad spend?

Clear account structure gives you a good quick view what and where you need to optimize

For optimizing campaigns, groups and keywords. You would download excel data report and add the relevant dimensions by day, device and other which you can use pivot tables to see what to optimize.

I assume you use your click tracker has the campaign named the same as the campaigns inside the engine. That way you can merge the click tracker data to AdWords data using vlookups or index match functions in excel.

Hope that points you in the right direction
