What is "Binary" and "Nutra"

Hi,
I have been stuck on.... I don't understand the meaning of "Binary" and "Nutra".
Someone tried to explain it to me, and he told me that nutra means health products. binary means financial offers.
He also told me to post this question if I want to get more clarification...
Also, I always hear that those kind of offer are scams, why is that?

Thank you!

Cheers,
Aviv

Binary = Binary Options

It's basically gambling dressed up as a financial product. But scammier since the people behind the binary options companies treat the business more like a boiler room.

More than you need to know about binary: http://www.timesofisrael.com/the-wol...-scam-exposed/

Hey Aviv - "Nutra" refers to verticals within the health space ranging from Diet, Skin, Muscle, ED, etc type of supplements that provide health-giving additives and medical benefits. If you have specific questions regarding any of these verticals - feel free to message me at any time.

Nutra = health/diet/skin offers that either work on a free trial basis or on a straight sale basis. Works great if you use the right prelander - especially on native traffic.

Binary = 0 vs 1 as said here above its gambling but being portrayed as "investing". The user gambles on the price of something (a stock or a forex currency) going up (1) or down (0) in the next X time.
Payouts are usually very high (between 200-350 dollars) because the user needs to make a minimum deposit on the site of at least 100 dollars and usually execute one or two trades before the pixel fires. Works great on traffic coming from financial blogs - also recommended to use a solid prelander

Nutra is as much of a scam as half of the stuff you see in any apothecary - these are supplements, mostly some mix of natural ingredients that might help you with something, or it might have no effect at all. Look at homeopathy, small sugar balls with probably no effect, yet people buy them in millions - if nothing else, the placebo effect makes it worth it to some. Is it scam?

I have seen some nutra products using payment terms that could be considered scammy thou - free trial, but with the obligation to buy 6 months worth of pills - obviously buried down in the text so nobody could find it. 90 days return guarantee in case the results are not satisfactory, but only for an unopened bottle - how can you know the results when you dont open it? ... Con artists try all kinds of methods to screw more $ from the customers.

Binary is a bit different, I'm pretty sure they have internal systems that are authoritative it terms of determining whether the value went up or down, and even tho they can source the data from the real exchanges, all it takes is to delay it a bit and the results might be completely different. I'm not sure they are doing this, but I sure as hell know it must be tempting to play with the charts a bit.

You're correct. Every serious binary site has a 24 hour control room of analysts watching the players. If you win a lot (and some people are good, and do win a lot) they monitor you and will change the pricing of the underlying. And most of them tell you this in their terms.

Hey Aviv,

As the guys mentioned before, Nutra includes skin creams, diet pills, brain pills, muscle products, and at times male enhancement. The basic model here is to try a "risk-free" trial for 14 days where the customer only pays for shipping. On day 15, the customer will get charged a much higher ticket for the product and automatically jump in to a subscription that charges the CC and sends product every 30 days.

Message me if you'd like to chat about it more. I've worked on both the advertiser and affiliate side of this vertical.

Regards,
