Taboola Voluum URLs (4)

I've been trying to figure out how to enter in either a Voluum URL into Taboola or the network URL direct. Either way their system says it's an invalid URL. How is it possible then to push a VSL and track these?

Any insights would be much appreciated.

These URL checkers usually give an error when it's not possible to render the landing page URL. Are you sure the campaign url you are trying to use is working properly? Try to load it your self to see whether it loads the LP properly. Also make sure there are no GEO redirects in place that could lead to a defunct page etc ... I had a similar problem with revcontent, one of the LPs in rotation wasn't loading properly and caused the checker to give me the invalid URL error too. Could it be a similar problem?

Add this to the campaign level in Taboola: utm_medium={site}&utm_campaign}={campaign}&utm_tit le={title}&utm_thumbnail={thumbnail}

and on the url level just use your Voluum link without the tracking codes: http://trk.Voluum.com/123-1234-234

Also make sure to add this to the traffic tokens under Taboola in Voluum:

Parameter:
utm_medium {site}
utm_campaign {campaign}
utm_title {title}
utm_thumbnail {thumbnail}

Placeholder:
{site}
{campaign}
{title}
{thumbnail}

Name can be anything.

Taboola recently launched a few more parameters :

{platform} - will return "Desktop" or "Mobile," etc.
{campaign_id} - will return the campaign's campaign ID
{campaign_item_id} - will return the unique Taboola Item ID of the item that was clicked on
