Help! Manual Spying Issues: Hide my ass not Hiding My Ass!

Hey guys,

We run a lot of pops: Desktop and Mobile. Finding mobile LPs is the easiest thing in the world. One word: ADPLEXITY. However, we are trying to find some desktop sweeps landers and are running into issues. We tried manual international spying with HMA, but a lot of pops publisher sites are blocking proxies. Is there a way around this? A friend of mine told me to hire a local in the geo you want to spy on and teamviewer into their computer. Could there be an easier way around this?

PS: Also, does anybody know any good desktop spy tools for pops?

Manual spying is getting harder as more and more affiliates (and even traffic sources) implement systems to block proxies, VPNs and datacenter IPs.

Here are my 2 cents what you could do:
1) Use a less known VPN that is not popular between affiliates (search for it on STM, if its not mentioned here its a good sign)
2) Setup a server with your own VPN/SSH tunnel with your unique IP address
3) Hire someone in the country and give them exact steps what to do (ie. visit this URL, click on link, make screenshot of a popup, save it etc.)

The best way to go is a 1gb VPS in the country you want to spy, you can usually grab these for $10-20 per month or less. You can technically go with amazon virtual private servers as they got ips in a of geos.

Hidemyass is one of the most known ones, I'm also experiencing more and more problems with it. It was a great tool once, but now it's blocked more and more.

Erik listed all the good options already, so no need to repeat them

Exactly.
Even a simple 512MB VPS where you can install Windows (Vultr?) and you can setup new instances with different IPs any time.
Now if you want to spy a dozen countries it's going to be a bit of a hassle but spy tools for desktop aren't as good as for mobile or native nowadays.

isn't amazon virtual private server datacenter IPs? don't you need to make sure that IPs are residential first? please correct me if I am wrong.
