Anybody an adshuffle expert?

I have an account, never used an ad server. Gotta figure it out apparently they have lots of documentation -- any tips before I start?

iframe tags work best, don't recommend their auto optimization feature

I don't use the optimizer until I get 100+ clicks to element I want to optimize. Optimize via conversions. iFrame tags as Russian said. Just my opinion.

you have to pay for adshuffle right? is it worth it compared to google ad manager? also with the google ad manager when you generate a tag you get 2 codes.. one you place in header and one for the script... wtf?

what if you want to give it to an ad agency they dont control the actual header part of the website correct?

@ Vivido its paid but its .05 CPM no matter the volume which is awesome so AdShuffle for the win.

As for placing header script... with adshuffle its just a regular ad tag thats compatible with most ad servers that ad networks use. Stop trying to save pennies and get AdShuffle you'll thank us once you're pushing 1 mill impressions per day.

I have been using the has-offers admanager....and its not perfect but I like it much better than adshuffles interface....I find it much faster and easier to use......might be a little more expensive in the end.....but you can do more with it than track ads too....

adshuffle is soooo confusing to me... like its asking for net 15 and all this other crap that i dont need and just to grab the link for it takes me like 5 hours and then who knows what it will track.. idk fuck my life lol

I don't understand about the iframe thing yet I guess I'll understand where it fits in the scheme of things but thanks for the heads up, plus I didn't realize they had the same rate no matter volume, that's AWESOME. Great!

an iframe is a term for a type of ad tag....there are 2 basic types....

java - mostly used for txt ads
iframe - used for image and txt

you just give the tag to the network thats all than need be done....the adserver then serves your content in the "tag".....

reason why tags are advatagous is that it allows you to track the imps on your platform and rotate creatives....and thats why alot of networks are leery of tags as it allows you to swap to a dif banner after approval.....

@ vidivo

Spend the time to learn how to use adshuffle, I'm sure prosper was confusing when you just started learning as well. The tools is an enterprise level solution similar to what ad networks use. The sooner you learn about how ad networks operate the quicker you will be able to buy media like a pro or an agency and get preferential treatment and lower CPMs

@vidivo...

A lot of the fields that might be confusing you in setup are just for your reference or if you're giving a preset IO to the publisher/network.

I usually setup with the bare minimum in adshuffle and get the publisher to send over an IO with the terms i specify that we agree on.

Take the time to read their docs, its pretty simple if you focus a couple times.
