What do you recommend? (9)

Hi All

Does anyone recommend any of the following Trackers/Networks/Traffic Sources combinations for a newbie first campaign? I have been scanning over the forum and picked what seems to be the most popular.

(Apologies if I have missed any others)

Hey!

For your 1st campaign I recommend you to try:

Sources: PopAds, Plugrush, Propellerads, Clickadu.

Networks: Clickdealer, F5, Mpire. I also can recommend you MundoMedia, but they won't approve you without any experience.

Trackers: Voluum, Pixelk.

You listed a lot of options and a lot of them are usable

As mrbraun suggested, you can try more affiliate networks, for example adsimilis is accepting a lot of newbies lately so you can apply there too. You don't need more than 2 or 3 networks for now, so don't try to apply everywhere

As for the traffic sources, you listed all the major POP sources, some redirect/domain traffic sources and even a mobile DSP (go2mobi). So I'd say you need to decide what traffic type you want to run and then choose a network or two to start with.

And for tracking, Voluum or thrive are the most popular choices for hosted solutions, followed by adsbridge. If you want a self hosted solution, funnelflux would be a good choice for sure. Prosper was a popular newbie choice not so long ago since it was free, but that's not the case anymore. But whether you choose funnelflux, Voluum, thrive or adsbridge ... any of them will do the job so to speak.

All the traffic sources you mentioned are okay except I have bad experience with Popcash. I think Propellerads is managed-only so they may not be the best to start with.

Networks - if you get inside these networks then sure why not.

If you want no-hassle tracking, you can use Voluum. Prosper202 is also good and there is a free (older) self-hosted version if you want to keep it "in the house" and not in cloud.

Regarding traffic sources don't forget the usual suspects facebook and google display network, and I would suggest PPV traffic as well: leadimpact, 50onred, propelmedia (previously trafficvance)
