A lot more clicks on Voluum than on my ad network (6)
Hi guys, something weird is going on with the amount of clicks shown on my
Here are some numbers taken at the same time of the day:
Mobile campaign: 273 clicks shown on content.ad & 395 clicks on
Tablet campaign: 192 clicks shown on content.ad & 276 clicks on Voluum
It's hard to imagine that no one else has seen this. How is this possible?
Because of this all my shown costs are messed up.
Hello, these are usually some bots that just mess up your numbers and you shouldn't be billed for such traffic. It's annoying, but it happens from time to time.
I had heard of bot traffic but never expected it to be that high.
This can also be some kind of spider, caching script, spytool .... etc, I've read somewhere that various BOTs are responsible for more traffic than real human surfers 
These days there are lot of bots.
Lately I build a database of IPs of a well known spy tool and it was daily sending me hundreds of "visits" which would reflect in few dollars in ad spend.
Fortunately some traffic sources allow you to exclude proxies (for example Propeller), so you should not lose money this way.
Anyway if you are using Voluum for tracking, they recently introduced a "Bot Blacklist" feature, which you can use to can exclude bots, so they not screw up your data. More information is available on they knowledge base here: http://feedback.Voluum.com/knowledge...rticles/949135
same here today i had 11580 visit on landing google analyticts showing same colaker showing same aswell its even giving CTR like 500 click to offer lol but facebook show 4k click :-\
i think facebook love me they are sending free traffic :-| LOL
