Google DFP Ad server to Voluum: policy violation detected on creatives - any solution

Hey,

Anyone familiar with Google DFP?

So I am trying to traffic line items in DFP that have my own banners and link that goes to Voluum. However, DFP reports "policy violation detected on creatives" and it automatically makes creatives inactive.... ("we've disapproved your ad because it directs to a landing page known to host or distribute malware in violation of our policies")

So I changed the domain of landers to be one of Voluum default domains, like "bmcp5.trackvoluum.com/.............." Still the same, it detects policy violation.

Anyone know how to do this properly?

I had this aswell, but only happened once and the rest of my Voluum links work fine. Think it was just the end url that was flagged by google.

What do you mean by "end url"?

i mean wherever you are diverting the traffic too (the final landing page) is getting flagged by google.

Did you try to send googlebot elsewhere ?

Yeah, I just made a rule to send "Google Inc." ISP over to a normal site: www.yahoo.com

Still, the same! It detects creative violations.

Am I missing something?

My rules are a bit more complex:

- Filter country
- Filter ad unit (For example, i filter ad_unit id 27382, which is the preview on Google DFP, on my account)
- Filter ISPs (Amazon, blue coat, google etc etc)
- Filter out User Agent (must not contain: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)

Actually, it's not full proof or 100% reliable. It's all about testing variations.

But, at least in my case, it helps resolves must of the warning/violations and line items pausing.


Finally, maybe you should have a look at the new bot blacklist feature available on Voluum,

Not sure how bot filtering would help me with this? As I understand it, bot filtering is just so that those bot actions do not appear in your Voluum stats....

btw how do you send ad_unit ID from DFP?
