Problem of consistency or redirection trick? (7)

Problem of consistency or redirection trick?

I'm searching for campaigns in different spy tools. I use to find campaigns with great landings at the beginning of the funnel offering the last generation smartphone, but when I check all the outgoing URL, the destination is an offer about content (music, video, pic)

I have tested with VPN and without. With VPN the redirect hideref.org doesn't work, but if I delete from the URL I can see the offer. Without VPN I can see the offer directly after the hideref.org intermediate page.

Is this a problem of redirections, the system show me an alternative offer, or is a problem of funnel consistency ?

Thanks for your answers

This will be a redirection problem, GEO detection, carrier targeting, fallback rules ... or a combination of all Lot of this happens directly at the affiliate network, anything out of targeting get's redirected to fallback offers. The IPs of the widely used VPNs are known too, so they can redirect them away too. It's definitely not a problem of funnel consistency, especially when you see this with many campaigns.

Thank you @matuloo. I thought that.

So, How can i emulate the real funnel, as a normal user? I'm using a VPN, but this is not enought.

Any idea?

Thanks

It's not always possible, that's why there is such a huge demand for spytools. I'm using a VPN too, if it doesn't work then I check spytools ... You could buy a pro solution from guys like geoedge.com but that is very expensive when you want to focus on multiple GEOs.

You can't do it 100% unless you book a ticket to the GEO you want, buy a SIM card for the carrier you're interested in ( if carrier - or plain wifi if not ) and the device make and model to match your offer. Safest bet

Yes, really expensive. Thank you for the info. Added to favorites for the future. :-)
