Advanced Global Scaling For Multiple Campaigns

How do you effectively scale multiple campaigns worldwide? the assumption is that we have to manage these campaigns through rules instead of being specific to unique situations due to the large number of campaigns/ad sets involved and the quick killing and launching of campaigns.

we also know that each campaign dies over time, as we lack control of the product/service and are not developing it. the fate of the campaign is death and removal.

our current strategy is do an initial test in the USA, and then gather the CPM and reach information and extrapolate that to other countries to have a similar % reach per day. this allows us to instantly reach 70% scale (i think) on day 1-2 of scaling.

however after adopting this model we have noticed that there could be several problems because many countries could be different from the united states due to different levels of competition, online purchase tendencies and willingness to interact with the ad and share information with their friends.

can anyone comment and share on their global scaling strategies?

I would understand if you start off with a smaller demo country and scale to larger countries, but your initial test it US. US is the biggest market out there. I don't believe you fully maximized the ROI for US, doesn't make sense to divert your attention to other countries.

I believe campaign-decay is caused by what Facebook calls the "relevancy" store. What many people don't know is that there is a "good reaction" score and a "bad reaction" score (as well as the 1-10 rating that they display in the interface). What is interesting, and potentially gives some method away, is that you can have a "HIGH" score for "good reaction" and "bad reaction" and still have a 9.5 overall relevancy score being displayed in the interface.

Depends on your demo or interest targeting. Maybe you are selling skin cream to 50+ women, but one day you come up with an angle to sell to men's in their 20s. Possibilities are endless.
