VOD Adult: LP or DL

Would I be correct in thinking that VOD adult offers are one of the few that might perform approximately the same with direct linking compared to making a LP? I assume that landing pages in adult are more aimed at dating etc.?

Like with other verticals, there is no definite answer.

Are you jsut buying traffic? POP? Direct media buy?

Some offrers can perform well without a LP but you should split test both ways really. A good LP can make wonders and there is no reason to not try at least (I think).

Yeah mostly pops. I'm in the process of creating a few lp's and will give it a go. Thanks!

What VOD site did you pick to promote? Some of the larger companies actually offer pre-made LPs - various landers that you can send traffic to.

The performance will differ from one of them to another, like always.

For POP traffic it would actually be a good idea to use some LPs, adult surfers know they can get pretty much any movie for free so you gotta pre-sell them somehow.
