Pretty new guy here, I've been soaking up all the information I can here at STM.
I got a few questions for you guys!
I've been doing Clickbank offers, so I have not tried any CPA style offers yet. From what I read, PIN submits and sweeps are the most popular right now. Are they newbie friendly? I read the mobile cookbook appetizer, and am interested in it, but worry it is outdated and that the previously mentioned verticals are more beginner friendly.
At this point, I am not looking to make too much money, I just want to learn this new process. What would you guys recommend?
Should I just go through the mobile cookbook appetizer or should I start with something else?

I have enough funds to cover the beginning, and I understand I will not be profitable at the beginning, but I want to chose something positive from the get go.

I would say PINs are still the easiest to start with, asian GEOs are very popular right now. But as you said, this is one of the most popular verticals now so there is a lot of competition.
How did your Clickbank tests go? In case you see some success there, why not focus on it? Sometimes it's better to go against the crowd 
In case you decide to try PINs or sweeps, the cookbook is still a solid guide to go by, just keep in mind it's just a guide and not some law that you have to follow to the last point. Check som of the follow alongs we had lately, there were several where guys actually got their campaigns to profit pretty fast.

Clickbank is doing fine, I am actually in the green. My plan is to focus on the Clickbank offer but do a CPA style one along side, get it profitable (if I can) and then see which one to start scaling first.
Ill start off with the cookbook then, and mix in the follow alongs for added information.
