Dont want to waste your time!! Here is the thing!!

Tier 1/2/3 - a lot of networks love to use those definition.. Do you really believe in it?!

In my opinion it it showing nothing.

For example Tier 1 used to be valued as fattest traffic. It is right, but traffic is expensive as well...

According ranking Czech Republic and Hungary is Tier2 or may be for some people Tier 3.

For me and my friends these countries is showing even better result than Australia or UK for example which is over pitched always!!! Everybody wanna damage them

Why you don't try target on Tier 2 or Tier 3 countries even smaller volume on a Tier2/3 not f@ucked up country and get better results!!

Did you have some times good experience with not profitable GEO which brought you a lot??? I am interested in your opinion

This whole definition comes from the "internet history" so to speak

Not so many years ago, you couldn't really monetize anything but US, Canada, Australia and the old EU countries. There was a ton of traffic from other GEOs but there simply were NO offers for that traffic. Rollback maybe 10-15 years, the only way to bill customers was through a Credit Card and there simply weren't many credit card holders in Eastern Europe or Africa. So the Tier1 countries are actually those that were BILLABLE the first. Obviously, people focused on those, which resulted in fierce competition. These were also regulated the first, which is another complication for AM.

These days you can bill via CC, phone, payment on delivery and whatnot, so new GEOs opened for AM lately and obviously, they offer the biggest opportunity now.

So don't think about the TIER's as some factor of profitability, it's simply a measure of how advanced/developed these markets are and how long they have been monetized.

BTW: You have probably notice that we always recommend Tier 2 - 3 GEOs to all new people, simply because they are easier to run and still can be highly profitable
