Shopify: Looking for advice on US company registration for non-US residence

Let me explain the situation which explains my question.

I'm based in Australia, and I'm looking at doing e-commerce ( Shopify + aliexpress ), and want to price the items USD. But with Shopify, the currency is set to the local currency of the account holder, which for me is AUD. To setup shopify to accept USD, I will need to be US based with a SSN, or a business is the US that is registered with the IRS

I can't price my items with the exchange rate applied, it will appear too high. eg. if I want to charge $20 USD for an item, I will need to price it as $26, many users will automatically assume this is $USD price and it'll appear expensive. I tried installing a currency switcher app, but it only shows the USD price on the product listing, once you add it to the checkout page, it displays as AUD again, causing confusions, and seem like the price jumped. Hence my cart abandonment is quite high.

So, to overcome this, I will need to have a US based business registered, and shopify will change my currency to USD

is this the only option? Does anyone have any ideas?

If this is the only option, what's the best way to get a business registered in the US ?

Thank you

Getting a business registered in the US is the easy part, just research delaware or wyoming in the forum.

The difficult part is if you need a US bank account with it, if you can use an australian bank account (i'm sure they offer USD/EUR accounts at most banks) that's the easiest solution, if you can't ,then you need a US bank account, and only a few LLC Shops have the necessary connections to get you one without SSN/TIN number.
