AV stands for Anti Virus.

The angle is based around the Virus threat, the most aggressive angles will suggest that a device has already been infected with a virus and needs to be cleaned in order to prevent data loss.

Most networks already banned this aggressive approach and you need to suggest that the device MIGHT be at risk without using an AntiVirus solution etc ...

This angle works the best with Antivirus PIN submit offers.

To run antivirus on pop, running aggressive landers is almost the only way to go - because everybody else is running aggressive so you won't survive if you don't.

Having said that - there are rules at 1)the offer advertiser, 2)the affiliate network, and 3)the traffic network, that you'll need to adhere to, to avoid losing your commissions and/or getting your account banned.

Generally speaking you have 2 options:

1)Only run offers that ALLOW aggressive promotion tactics. You can ask your AM specifically for these.

2)Run aggressive anyways even though you know it's against the rules. Many affiliates take this route, but most are cloaking, and/or dayparting so that they're only receiving traffic at night when the reviewers are off work. Cloak or not, you run the risk of losing your commissions, and/or getting your account banned (aff network and/or traffic network). So, choose this path at your own risk.

Some pop traffic sources are more lenient than others when it comes to aggressive landers, so you'll need to read their respective TOS. Also, if you get landers rejected, you'll know.

One thing to especially watch out for, is the use of the google logo on landers - that kind of stuff is not allowed on most traffic networks (if not all).

Good luck!
