In the past I was banned from Adwords because I foolishly logged in using a public VPN while traveling.
Right now I still travel a lot, and can't risk the multiple IP's on my Adwords account.
One solution I figured is to VPN into my California accountant's office ISP - which also is where my companies are registered.
What would be the best way to do this? is there a specific router I can buy or...?
(oh and I'm 100% whitehat, long term business model - not into churning accounts etc)
Hi,
I've used www.purevpn.com before by buying a dedicated IP and using that for certain websites that I use adsense etc. You can use it on your pc by downloading their software and running it every time you want to sign into your accounts.
Maybe this helps you.
Hi,
Career IT pro here. The cheapest option is a PFSense box from Amazon. It's open source so it's not priced crazy like the Meraki or Cisco appliances and it does everything they do and more. I won't link to it here since my account on STM is new and I don't want any mods to assume I'm dropping aff links, but just go to Amazon and search for PFSense. There are tons of setup videos on Youtube to get you going.
Alternatively you can rent an Amazon Workspace for less than $50/mo. It gives you a poor man's Terminal Server which is basically a Windows PC in the cloud. You can choose the data center you want it in (like San Francisco) and it will save your settings, bookmarks, and more from session to session.
I hope this helps.
Hello.
I solved similar problem by using TeamViewer. It's free software for non-commercial use. Main advantage of this method is that I can reboot my router via web-interface and receive new IP when I need this.
