Been pushing viral post for a few months already. In the beginning we have gotten 23% ctr and 0.03 cpc. Now its hard to even get 10% ctr and under .10 cpc. Anybody else experiencing a dramatic increase in overall cpc. My creatives are always fresh and never reused. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks
It's just FB updates, especially the one recent one below that fights clickbait, which is what all the viral sites are doing...

Reducing reach doesn't mean a decrease in ctr. The main reason why cpc is so high is because ctr is low. Normally at 10% ctr will drop cpc under .10, but this is not the case. Im getting like .20-.30 cpc.
It could be due to competition coming in, driving cpc's up
what sort of reach and targeting are you going for? I would suggest going broad so that CPMs are lower. but of course it also depends on the niche and target.
But only a specific age group and sex is converting for our niche. Our targeting is really broad xx,xxx,xxx audience. It could be competition, but i highly doubt it would triple my cpc within 2 weeks.
