Hey everyone,
I work as an affiliate Manager for Medici-Internet. Trying to stay involved in as many forums, chats, groups or whatever it is to get my name out there!
Been getting good traffic on new contacts, most of which aren't very credible. So, my question is, if you're a fellow affiliate manager, what are some of the best ways to not only market yourself, but your network, to gain quality pubs?
Let me know your thoughts!
Also, if any affiliates have an input on what they look for in a quality AM, I want to hear about it!
It's pretty easy actually, post quality content on the forums, chat groups and whatever you are active at. If I see a network rep posting stuff that makes sense, I am certainly more interested to try that network over those who employ people who post crap wherever they land at
This may just be me but the best aff managers I've gotten the most out of have been somewhat familiar with blackhat stuff - cloaking & spying so they understand somewhat what is going on and can give some good guidance because for some offers the only way to compete is cloaking + breaking the rules, an aff manager pretending/thinking this isn't the case isn't v nice! And maybe most of all: just be responsive
Just be transparent. A quality affiliate can easily decipher a quality aff manager.. or those managers/networks that only have a "ME" mentality.
And as mentioned above, show us that you know your side of the business very well through all communication and it may encourage us to take a chance/risk at building a new relationship.
