Skin campaign on Content.ad Follow Along

Hey guys,

I was doing mobile pop a year ago, now I've decided to get into native ad. This is my first follow along on native ads, any feedback, comments, suggestions is appreciated

Vertical:Skin
Traffic Source: Content.ad
Country: Australia, New Zealand
Tracker:Voluum
Offer: A top skin offer recommended by AM

Now it's August 24th as I am posting, the campaign started on August 19th. So it's 6th day into the campaign.

August 19th:

Spend:$62
Revenue:$0
Conversion:0
ROI:-100%

Lander: 1(Scraped from spy tool)
Ads: 3( 3 different angle):
Wrinkle On Your Forehead?
Wrinkle Under Your Eye?
Wrinkle On Your Neck?

Name:	1.png

Size:	17.6 KB

Name:	2.png
Views:	205
Size:	16.9 KB

Name:	3.png
Views:	169
Size:	16.7 KB

This is to find out which part of the face people care about the most.

Base on data, the angle "Wrinkle on neck" gets the most clicks.
It seems that people care more about their neck skin, but it might be because of the image

August 20th:

Spend:$65
Revenue:$42
Conversion:1
ROI:-36%

Added 3 landers
Ads:3 (The same)

The conversion come from the angle "Wrinkle on neck". So far I believe people care about wrinkle on neck more than eye and forehead, but content.ad's algorithm assign most of the clicks to that ad.

August 21st:

Spend:$59
Revenue:$0
Conversion:0
ROI:-36%

4 Ads added:
3 with the same angles with different images( Wrinkle under eye, wrinkle on neck, wrinkle on forehead)
1 new angle: Avoid Botox, Us this instead

My campaign was paused, because one of the 4 landers contained celebrity endorsement.
Content.ad does not allow celebrity endorsement without consent from the celebrity.
So I only use the lander with 1 conversion yesterday, and submitted it for approval again.

And I raised daily budget to $100

August 22nd:

Spend:$93
Revenue:$168
Conversion:2 +2 upsells
ROI:79%

Feels like crack! It turned green all of the sudden. Damn, that rush. Give me more dose baby!!!
Maybe because of Monday? Many affiliates say that Monday is their best day.

1 Ad added:
Avoid Botox: Remove Lip Lines In 20 Minutes
(I've decided to add this angle because I saw this angle a few times through spying)

Issue: Upsell conversions are not counted in Voluum, I had to manually upload the upsell conversions.
I've tried adding the transaction id token to the post back url, but since the original conversion and upsell has the same transaction id, so upsell wasn't counted.
I've hit up my AM regarding this issue, he's still finding solution
Anyone knows how to solve this issue?

August 23rd:

Spend:$118
Revenue:$0
Conversion:0
ROI:-100%

Today I added back a lander, now it's rotating 2 landers.
However, Content.ad suspended my campaign because they found rotating landers. They think I am cloaking.
I don't want any misunderstanding, so I called them up. The representative told me he'll let the compliance team look at it and call me back.

August 24th

Spend:$0
Revenue:$0
Conversion:0
ROI:0%

Today the campaign is still being paused, haven't heard back from content.ad yet.

I will continue posting below

Out of curiosity, why did you choose c.ad?

I wanted to go with Revcontent at first. But I submitted the ad last week, my credit card and ad are still pending.
Don't want more delay launching the campaign, so I went with Content.ad.
I've tried calling RevContent today and left them a message, haven't heard back yet.

August 25th:

Spend:$132
Revenue:$42

I called content.ad up again, and they told me remove all the Doctor Oz related text and unverified magazine claims. So I did, and the campaign continues to run.

Yup, I am still receiving most of the clicks from that ad.
But seems like the algorithm of Content.ad assigned most of the impression to that ad, other new ads weren't given enough impression to be tested.

Hey Johnye, thanks for share.

Could you tell us how much is your bid and your average CTR?

Just in case, are you promoting Abella?

I'm getting $ 6 EPC for this offer in CA with Facebook traffic.

I am bidding $0.4 per click now, average CTR is 10% on lander
The offer is not Abella. $6 EPC is awesome!

hey dude, if u want Voluum to get upsell postbacks go to affiliate network tab, click and edit the network you are running offers for and tick Accept duplicate postbacks. That will fix it ( i had the same issue as you )

so small budget for this offer, try other offers with smaller payout. (15-20payout = daily budget) u will collect more inforamtion.

now it's seem like a casino - it's not business
