I just checked our creative count for all traffic sources, campaigns, etc, and it's pretty high numbers over the past year. It gets cluttered real fast, lol.
Being more of a visual person, I like to see the creative images quickly when comparing them to statistical data.
What are you using to keep your creatives (images, headlines, domain URLs, etc.) organised?
It also makes it much easier to bring top performers back to life a few months down the road or create similar creatives when you can link it quickly to past data.
Personally, I use a dense folder structure - more subfolders better - and a LOT of Evernote or plaintext notes for headlines.
But this is something I've been thinking about recently - I'm not happy with my approach. I suspect in the near future we'll see the rise of content management systems for affiliates to make all this much easier.
I use the same process that your explaining but it really sucks having to go back and forth between folders.
It still feels incomplete to me.
I was thinking of using word or excel but even that is a bit primitive.
It would be great to have something with a search feature and even metrics to quickly see top performer and slow performer reports.
Maybe it's just me but i love graphs and to see what is green/red
There has to be a tool out there capable of doing that kind of a job.
