I had an account disabled today because I forgot to load the money into linked paypal account before outstanding balance met threshold.
Last time when this happened there was button to try billing again, so I loaded the money and clicked it, payment went through and everything was ok.
Now the account says its inactive, please add payment method to reactivate. My linked paypal method is missing.
So my question is whether this means that even after adding paypal account again and paying the balance they will ban my acc anyway, or I have nothing to fear about? Does it make sense to pay the balance or should I forget about this account?
What message does it display in your account btw? Just wondering, had something similar happen.
There is no red box on account. In ads manager in status column where it usually says active or inactive for campaigns now says "payment method declined"
Just an update not to leave this unfinished, I decided not to panic and do nothing except for loading the money and waiting.
Although there was no button to rebill manually and it seemed like account is on its way to be banned, I didn't try to add again same payment method, as FB suggested.
I know that Facebook would try to bill second time next day, so it did and everything resumed successfully.
It will work again. But they will keep an eye on this acc. So you shouldnt run BH with it
I've always ran into issues linking Paypal accounts. Even using Paypal's mastercard triggers "suspicious activity." Debit cards works best for me for some reason.
