Voluum With Mobile Pops: Is Pro Plan an Option?

Hey there, just got into Mobile Pops and am feeling sort of antiquated with my old CPVLab setup -- looking at Voluum, but with only 1,000,000 events on the Pro plan, it seems like it's not suitable for Mobile Pops unless you're doing ZeroPark for the free events? From my initial testing it seems like even at minimum bids I would easily run through that many events in one month even TESTING like 2 campaigns.

I see people talking about using the Pro plan though, so are they just not doing Mobile Pops or am I misunderstanding something?

Thanks!

Hello! For pops I recommend you to try Pixelk - it's a self-hosted system, optimized for pops and it don't have any limits.

Many people use Voluum for pops, even with large volume campaigns, but yes, it can get expensive. There are more cost effective alternatives out there for sure.

Okay, thanks Mr. Braun and matuloo. Sounds to me like Voluum + Pops is only something you should do if you already have some nice campaigns, so I'll try Pixelk!

You're right - Voluum can get quite expensive when you're running large volumes in pop. This is one of the reasons why I set my minimum-acceptable ROI no lower than 30%.

There are definitely cheaper alternatives. You can find a couple of them in this tracker cost comparison thread:

Hi cheesecake,

Yes, mobile pops is okay on Voluum. You are correct that the Pro Plan includes 1,000,000 events. If you are looking for a tracker with similar caliber tracking technology, you should also consider Track Revenue. Same price of $99 for Pro Plan but double the events ie. 2,000,000. Also supports mobile pops, same as Voluum.

The main difference between Voluum and Track Revenue is probably the machine learning optimization that TR has. Campaign management performance, stats reporting is all very similar.
