Mundo Media application. Please help!

Hi Everyone,

I have applied to 3-4 affiliate networks and have been accepted by two of them. Today I have received an email from Mundo media which states:

"The NEXT STEP towards becoming a Publisher with MUNDOmedia Ltd. is to schedule a brief interview with a member of our Publisher Support team. During this interview, you will be required to provide at least one reference from a network that you have worked with. If you are unable to provide a reference, please advise the Publisher Support Team member. Please note that failure to provide a reference may result in your application being DENIED."

What reference do I need to provide? Is it the name of my Affiliate manager with another network?

I appreciate your help and please if you guys can point me in the right direction ASAP as I only have five days to get back to them to schedule a skype interview.

Thank you

Yes - providing the name and contact info of your affiliate manager on another network you've worked with (email/skype/phone) should suffice. Good luck!

Thanks for the prompt response Amy!

I am new to the other affiliate networks as well (the ones who have approved me - i am approved with Avazu and Adsimilis). Is this an issue as they might think I do not have much experience?

I appreciate your help.

I feel your pain. When you're brand new there's this catch 22 you need to get past - you'll just need to apply to the most newbie-friendly networks and get accepted (which you have!) and then use those as a reference to apply to the rest. Just hope for the best. You don't need that many networks to get started. And the more you apply to the more you'll get accepted into.

You can be honest about the lack of experience, but DO let them know you're a member of STM and that you have a budget to spend on promoting offers from their network. Usually just these 2 things will get you in.

Best of luck!

Mundo Media will actually contact the reference you provided, so make sure it's a valid person who can put in a good word for you. Also follow Amy's advice with regards to the things you tell them
