Adwords - Final URL

I'm really hoping someone can shed some light on this as after best part of an hour talking to Google support I feel none the wiser, just a lot more frustrated.

It seems that now they have transitioned to "Final URL" from "Destination URL" they have made it impossible to use 3rd party tracking software.

All I can get out of support is that the "Display URL" and "Final URL" domains must match and can not contain cross domain redirects.

I can't be the only one wanting to use tracking software! Does anyone have a solution to this?

Any help greatly appreciated.

You can add a tracking URL, Use the "Ad url options" link when you create a new ad. It will allow you to enter a tracking domain and url.

You could host the tracking software on your own domain.

From my understanding newer tracking software has options to do so, however self hosted option maybe your option.

just be clear - which url you want traffic ? put that url there
