Can't recommend any decent public tool at the moment.
Do manual spying, that's your best bet...

Newbie here with the same extended question..
How would do you manual spying? Checked some guide on adespresso but didnt go in details to find maybe how long they've ran etc..
I can type the offer on graph search and try ti find the funnel that way.. but is there anything deeper than that?

Setup different FB profiles, based on the target demo of the vertical/offer. Like pages of offers/competitors.

Thanks and sorry for the super noob questions but:
1- Does FB allow different profiles? I guess I have to set many emails to create different FB accounts - right?
2- Would they check the source where the login comes from? Maybe using a VPN on a different PC to login to those profiles will be better and safer?
3- Once I like pages/ offers then I'll have to keep track of the ads I see , and days I see them...? is that right ? anything faster I can do?
Thanks

1. Making multiple personal accounts is against Facebook's ToS, it's pretty clear cut. You will need different emails yes.
2. Of course, you will want to keep accounts completely separated. This will be much easier if just using as a person - do not under any circumstance start an ad account or you will enter a new paradigm of struggles. The problem there is, especially if this is your first time doing it, Facebook likely is infinitely smarter than you about it. There is a reason people have so many difficulties with this. I think if you are not extremely technically savvy and don't plan out dozens of linking criteria and how to avoid them, you'll get caught pretty easily. But to clarify, you should be somewhat OK if just using the account for spying, though FB may flag you as fake and suppress ad delivery to you as a result.
3. Yes. Don't try to automate it. If not well technically versed you'll likely just flag yourself extremely quickly. It's not hard to take screenshots after all.

Honestly speaking, if you just set up a few personal accounts and profiles and you don't run ads on them or try to automatically spider ads, you most likely won't run into any difficulties.
