I started a campaign 4 days ago and am having serious doubts as to whether I should continue to make it profitable or move on to another offer.
Its an AV subscription offer in VN with a $0.8 payout.
First I ripped 6 landers from adplexity to test the offer.
Put in $18 in Popads and set up 3 campaigns with low, mid and high bids.
Set up time from 6pm to 12pm (local VN time).
Chose the accepted carriers for the offer and let it run.
After 2 days the budgets from all campaigns were drained. (Saturday and Sunday)
The overall results were $18 spend $4 revenue (-78% ROI).
I had gotten 3 conversions from the mid bid campaign and two from the low camp, so I decided to go with the mid that has more volume.
I drilled down to see if I had profitable Landers and this is what I saw:

Revenue: $0
ROI: -100%

Cost: $3.20

Revenue: $0

So after calculating my minimal conversion rate and using the calculator to see which landers to cut, I decided to stay with L4 and made 4 variations of it to run on my next round.
I had also gotten 4 conversions from Android and 1 from IOS so I cut all OSes that werent Android and IOS since they were eating some budget.
So after I made my 4 variations of L4 I set them up using the mid bid in Popads and let it run for round 2.
This time after 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) and $14 spend I had more data.
Overall results were $12.78 spend and $4 revenue (-68.7% ROI)
I got roughly 10% ROI increase from the first round but I expected more.
I dug down to landers and had the following data:
L1 -
Cost: $3.12
Revenue: $0
ROI: -100%
L2 -
Cost: $3.14
Revenue: $1.6
ROI: -49.1%
L3 -
Cost: $3.32
Revenue: $1.6
ROI: -51.82%
L4 -
Cost: $3.2
Revenue: $0.8
ROI: -75%
And this is where I am at now.
I dont know if I should continue trying to make this profitable or if its a lost cause.
From the stats right now I would cut L1.
I dug into OS and saw that Android had 4 conversions and IOS had 1 with the same cost, so I would target only Android.
The profitable carrier doesnt have much volume so I cant cut that.
There also dont seem to be any placements that are eating away my budget with 0 conversions.
So should I cut L1 and only target Android and go for another $15 spend or so and see what happens or drop this one?
Any advice?
This is only my third campaign and I still havent been profitable, still learning.

Forgot to mention that I chose this offer by asking my AM for good performing offers in VN. This was the one she recommended.
After drilling some more I found that all my conversions were made on adult category. The problem is that when I select only Adult in Popads I get about 2000 impressions daily. Anyone know good adult pop networks that have high VN traffic, can target by carrier and has low deposit requirements??
Spending low budget, you will not see any statistical significance. The difference of 1 conversions could change your entire result. However split testing offers is always a good idea and you may find a better performer.
