Pokemon Go - Campaign First Results.

Anyone already got his hands on the Pokemon Go campaign and is willing to share first results?

Very much looking forward to seeing what big affiliates can move with such a trending offer!

None of the offers apart from USA are really looking too great. Most (AU, MY, TH, NL etc) hovering around 100% ROI but given the low cost of traffic its very disappointing.

Paying 0.003 CPC on fb for NL... should be making bank but it just isnt converting. Definitely some very suspicious performance on CC submit's - offers, networks, carrier providers likely all scrubbing to the max.

Happy to offer real & warm FB accounts on rev share to anyone who can make it work above 300%

A lot of geos where the offers are don't have the game officially. From what I've read, it's available in US, AU and NZ, DE with Europe on the way. Not so in MY, TH and a few others. Though it can be downloaded in other geos, in theory the download and subscription rates should get better from here as it gets more accessible. What's the need to download a beginner's guide when you can't even get the game

Lol, valid. I'm curious to see if this hooks in more of the younger generation who grew up with it, or the older gen that is traditional for CC, SOI, etc.

The more older people that get the app to see what all the fuss is about, the better it gets?

A noob here hoping to make one of these offers my first profitable campaign. Risky I suppose because it's unproven, but dat hype! I would gladly take 100% ROI so step aside!

Now if only my traffic source would approve my campaigns I could start seeing something. I'm lookin' at you Go2Mobi, been waiting all day! No more of this waiting for days, please!

I did NL and PL, it's easy to get low CPC but offer CR is just terrible without any prelander.
If you expect crazy roi you should add nice prelander to our flow.

I would be interested to see how these numbers change once Pokemon Go is released in the EU geos...

Send a bunch of traffic to 4 different pinsubs in NL.
Angle: Betatest Pokémon now
Custom made prelander with a news story hyping pokémon.
LP CTR was through the roof (65%)
Clicks are really cheap (4 cents)
...but...
Conversion sucks balls.

100% ROI means investing 1$ getting 2$ in revenues so I guess he must be meaning 0% ROI.

Seems like the first results are rather disappointing for everyone. I guess numbers will improve once the game gets officially available in more geo's.

There are a small handful of pokemon related apps in the iOS store (mostly scams that try catch the wave) and those are trending heavily in the top charts across the globe.
So in the geo's where it's not released yet, users are VERY aggressively hunting for the game.

It will be interesting to see if this can convert properly and when a working angle can be pinpointed and exploited.

If you are planning to promote this, I would recommend you try to download app and play it for a while and identify the major pain points of users, then brainstorm angles around those problems.

Tested a few SOIs for pokecoins and got subpar results.

Heard some people are killing it with download now offers in geos that don't have the game yet with an angle like: "Pokemon go released in Vietnam! Enter your phone number and select your starter Pokemon!"

Especially younger people are on top of this, so they really know when the official app will be launched in their country.
Any fake app/ pin submits/sweeps or whatevs will not be thrustworthy to them ofcourse.

I would aim for the older people to make it succeed.

Ran AU Leadgen, DE SOI and currently running ZA SOI. Very poor results all round. The offers aren't great overall but was really expecting better results from the LeadLeaders AU version as the offer page is really nice and the rewards are pretty decent.

Running NL SOI leadgen from LeadLeaders too.
Never seen an EPC so low allthough the offer looks amazing.
They just don't believe my 'beta testers' angle I guess

Given what people are saying above, this looks like an excellent market to enter with a product of your own, rather than an aff offer, if you can produce one fast. I've had success in the past leaping on similar waves, and Pokemon Go might be the biggest wave we've seen in a long while.

An infoproduct or helper app could do really well right now. Just from friends I'm hearing a lot of questions about how and when Pokemon spawn, how the more advanced mechanics of the game work, and so on.

Sadly I'm a little busy between AWE and VR work or I'd be shutting up and getting on with making one

Yes I did it in US and AU, same with your test, A suitable prelander is needed.

Almost all of Adnium's office is playing this I'll walk in and they'll be talking about gyms, lures. Pigeottos etc and I'm just sitting there like, what's even happening right now As for Pokego offers we haven't heard any significant traffic converting - at least not in adult traffic lol

Managers saying that US, NZ and AU convert only... they don't say how it converts but it seems like no one is very pleased with them.

You wrote that many campaigns are down 20% from pokemon launch. What is 20% down - profits? Traffic? You really think this had such a big impact on affiliate marketing? It is reasonable tho that people are out more now... but still, I think pokemon go is a good thing for business. I mean if you look at the ingame app purchase graphs - all other apps combined have same revenue as niantico... And there isn't even a huge drop with other apps, seems like pokemon just added to the market if you understand me (it didn't take a piece of the pie, it added another pie).

We made a USA freebies path for Pokemon Go that's going live today for non-internal. So far so good, the past 12 days have been killer since traffic is so cheap.

Anybody interested in testing it or have free/cheap traffic that you wanna throw at a Pokemon Go giveaway offer lmk.

Tried pops on AU mobile via Zeropark - not even 1 conversion but with half decent CTR at 5% - I thought this would convert like crazy. Although I'm running the 'win free pokecoins' offer.
