Can someone give me a walk-through? (7)

I've asked this question on another thread but I'm not completely sure wtf I'm doing. I'm completely new to the entire concept of affiliate marketing. I've done some research here, and I've been accepted into a network and I have a traffic source, but I don't yet have a spying tool or tracker. Can someone give me a step by step guide of getting started and starting your first campaign? I've already read the "Step-by-step guide to getting started", but I need the process explained in laymen's terms. Like I need someone to explain it to me as if you're explaining how to take a shower. PLEASE help!

It takes time to understand the whole concept, like with any other business you are starting in.
If you want to save time and get a detailed walk-through as you're asking for, you will need to find someone who will guide you through the basics and that will cost you some $$$ I'm afraid.
You said you already have a traffic source - which one is it? Your next step would be to decide on a vertical and to actually start testing some offers.
You'll also need to get a tracker first, and get hosting for your landing pages (although I think you may be able to get away with hosting your landers on a CDN instead).
Give us more details on where you're at and we'll try to provide more suggestions.

First, follow the Amy's advice. Then, here are initial steps you have to make:
1. Get a VPS
2. Select a vertical
3. Select a tracker (you can take a look at cloud solutions (register and you are done) like
4. Select a couple of networks (share those you got approval)
5. Select a traffic source (pls share the one you alreday have)

To second what has already been mentioned on this thread - you need to do your due diligence. Affiliate marketing should be treated as any other business venture. In order to understand this business and get to a point where you are competent enough to launch and go all in, you need to research ALOT.
Expect to spend countless hours/days/weeks/months studying, researching, learning, testing, etc. There will be a ton of sleepless nights. So take initiative and start devouring all the content on this site.
I'd recommend you read the mobile cookbook while simultaneously performing every step that is outlined. Ultimately, true learning comes from practice.
