Adult Chat Bot Domain Names

I have a bunch of adult chat bot domain names and no plans for what to do with them. I feel pretty confident that adult chat bots will be a category... Let me know if you have any ideas how to monetize or leverage chatbots in the adult space...

I originally bought them with the intention of trying to sell the portfolio, but that was before I joined STM and realized there are experts here in affiliate marketing in the adult space... I just don't know enough about the space to get something off the ground that is actually monetizable. (I can build the bots, that is the easy part, the question is how to build it in a way to monetize with affiliate offers for adult dating, etc...)

Any and all ideas or insights would be appreciated.

I dont think there is really any value in the domains, not even the renewal fees. Even if chat bots do eventually become a "niche", the $10 a year will be a drain.

are you speaking from
a place of knowing adult offers and monetization really well or just a general opinion about the relevancy of domains in general to the eventual market?
I only ask because I have already successfully monetized and sold chat bot domains that arent adult oriented... so, Im not looking for opinions about the market but rather specifically about adult monetization strategies.

I've done pretty much everything there is to do in adult but I dont see the market for domains like these. Maybe there is a new market that Im not aware of, so pardon my ignorance if this is the case, but who do you want to target with these domains? Is there an audience that wants to chat with bots? Or you want to target webmasters who could benefit from a chat bot service?

Pretty much any service online that relies heavily on multiple searches and filters (i.e. an adult dating site) can benefit from a chat bot that remembers a users preferences and previous search history and can send over profiles as they get posted, or create a mobile user experience with easier onboarding and a better interactions for browsing profiles on the go, etc...)

It can also be used for leadgen. Instead of going through a mobile form, you just add the bot via a link to your kik or telegram account, and it asks you a brief survey. It can also be used to send a mobile payment link via text ,etc...

I can think of dozens of use cases where a chatbot is a better UX than a website or app for dating, adult, etc... but, I don't know about the monetization channels that would enable this.

Can someone educate me about the different ways to make money in adult?

OK, so you are talking about some service for site owners, but why do you need 30+ domains for this? I understand there are people who could utilize a chatbot, but why the domains? That was your initial question too, those domains are not worth anything IMO as well. You could pick maybe 2 or 3 from the list and build a site on it, introducing your services to those that could be interested. I could see this adultchatbots.com as a good pick for this.

On top of that, the things you mentioned as possible uses for these bots are already solved with some coding, user creation and cookies.

Bots are used in dating sites already, to simulate interaction between users, but since the BOTs are just bots, the communication is pretty shitty - any solid dating site employs human operators who are taking care of this.

Fair point in general. The thought process was that selling just one name will pay for all the others...so, its a gamble worth taking. The reason for multiple is that I can a)make the case for why they are valuable and convince someone to buy them or b)package a chatbot with a domain and sell it that way and c) Around the time android was announced, I owned Adultapps.com and let it expire because people told me its probably worthless. It sold for $10k by the next owner...so, considering the cost is low, and there are enough potential buyers out there, and considering that I personally believe Messenging Apps and Bots will be a bigger opportunity than Apps ever were... I wasn't going to make the same mistake twice... Even if it costs me a year or two of Reg Fees.

In other words, as an end user/potential buyer I agree that these names are not necessarily worth anything intrinsically, and that domains are not necessarily relevant to chat bots...but thats the case with millions of domains that sell for x,xxx or even more sometimes. All you need is 2 people to believe its valuable and you can sell it for whatever you want. In the mean time, I will try to monetize them if possible.

Here is a thought/question...Are there markets where web access is limited, but text/sms is available that could run porn search and discovery via kik, sms, etc...or these chatbots can be used to find local services? Can you think of scenarios in adult, independent of monetization that texting back and forth is a functional use case where internet access is limited, or where texting is a simpler use case than opening a browser or app, logging in, searching, and interacting with the service?

If enough creative ideas can be generated, I can try to sell them with a stronger sales pitch.
