Most of my activities are focused on gambling verticals (casino / lotto / sports / binary), and I deal primarily with English speaking and Scandi traffic.
However, I'm constantly being asked for German speaking traffic, and it's a definite weak spot for me.
Any ideas? Could be email / pops / specific networks etc. I've done some searching around, but would really like to hear about sources that have worked well in the past.
Also, I'd like to develop some sites of my own to try and drive DE traffic organically, but I don't speak a word of German. Any suggestions for content / translation companies or SEO agencies focusing on the DACH markets?

Germany is a major GEO and as such, you will find plenty of german speaking traffic on ANY traffic network, including adult, where the volume is massive literally speaking - and adult can work for these verticals too.
For content creation, I wouldn't suggest using a pro agency as their fees will eat you alive. The best would be to hire a native speaker or a few of them and pay them per article written. I've had good experience oDesk for this. Many of these people will disappear pretty quickly and some will be late with their work, but there is a ton of people over there willing to work for cheap so if you try several, some will be good for sure.
