2 Questions - Passing a Placement from Traffic Source to Voluum and Blank Referrers (2)

Question 1 :

A traffic source I'm using uses this tag, $$PLACEMENT$$, to pass placement info back to Voluum or network. Where would I append this tag to pass it back to Voluum?

With another offer, I was direct linking to the offer and was able to pass it via the ?subid= tag like this : www.networktracker.com?subid=$$PLACEMENT$$. Not quite sure how to pass with with a Voluum link.

Question 2 :

None of my campaigns are showing referrer data. Currently working with 2 different traffic sources and neither show referrers. Is that normal?

Hello, mrmarketer is right, tokens are network specific and you need to configure each traffic source separately in Voluum in order to be able to track those properly.

Here is a screenshot from Voluum - the tokens are from go2mobi, so you need to change them to what your particular network supports.



Please note the checkbox next to each line, if you don't check it, voluum will not track the tokens.

Once you update the traffic source in voluum, you MUST grab the related campaign links again and replace them in the traffic source.
