The suggested bid when I started the campaign was 0.58 and upwards. This seems a bit rich doesn't it?
Your CTR is probably garbage. Outbrain, and almost every ad network that runs on CPC actually runs on eCPM.
eCPM= CTR X CPC
Try to make your ad a little more clickbait-y. I have campaigns hitting the $200 daily cap bidding under 10 cents on mobile and under 15-20 on desktop in the US/CA/FR etc...
Also, completely ignore the suggested bid.
Good to know, What do you suggest as a first strategy to get many clicks? should I add multiple ads with the same image but with different titles?
I want it to act as a click bait but I still want it to be relevant to my landing page.
