CPO and CPL?

I see that a lot of the offers on my network are based on CPO and CPL, being completely new, I have no idea what this means, Can someone help me out? I'm used to CPC and CPA but I've never heard of the aforementioned ones.

Hi lightsofray!

What's up?

In both business models, users normally fill in their email address on the offer page. Advertisers will keep this info in order to promote other offers.

In the case of a CPO (cost per order) model, you'll only be paid if the user purchases something. In the CPL (cost per lead) model, you'll be payed for qualified sign-ups (real users/mails) regardless of how many impressions or clicks you get.

Get it?

Hope this post has been enlightening!

Cheers!
