POP Journey - Profitable, but what now?
Hello STM,
First of all, thank you to everybody who has shared information on this forum. This really is a great place to learn.
Saying that, let me give you a brief on where I am.
10 days ago, I launched a campaign:
GEO: VN
Payout: .50
After reading a few guides and talking to a few mates, I was able to optimize it well and in 10 days, I am now hitting 85% ROI.

So why this follow along buddy?
Well here is why..
Since the beginning, I stuck to one bid and kept optimizing it, now that I am maxed out with cutting things... my traffic is limited. With my current bid, I can only pull like $30 profit a day. I am basically stuck with one traffic source and to be honest, I do not want to jump around to another traffic source as I am still in the learning phase with POPs and Popads targeting is just great.
So here is the question/follow along (From this point forward)
I am going to now create a duplicate campaign and raise the bid, probably 1.6x higher as this brings like triple the traffic.
So a few questions for you pros when I setup the high bid campaign on Popads!
- Should I carry on with the just the 1 winning Lander?
- Should I use the same placement blacklist for the high bid campaign too?
- Should I use the same OS versions, Device, Models that I previously optimized?
- Should I keep the same quality of websites as I did for my lower bid campaign?
- Is there anything you guys can recommend I should do that I did not mention above?
----
I'll keep posting very frequent updates on stats. Looking forward to hearing from you all!
Cheers

POP Journey - Profitable, but what now?
- split test landers for a few more rounds
-keep BL, keep targeting
-test all quality, cut shitters, increase frequency cap to 3/24.

First of all, congrats on reaching green number so FAST!
Now to your questions, Eddie gave you solid advice already so let me just extend it a bit :
- you can run with just one lander, but it's always better to have multiple ones in rotation wherever possible.
- depends on how conservative you were with the blacklisting, if it's just the very worst placements, then yes, transfer it over. But if there are placements that were just not good enough, it would be a good idea to retest them.
- pretty much the same as the previous point.
- I would keep it for the start. If you don't reach the expected results, try to alter it.
Keep one thing in mind when doing this, right now you just want more traffic by using a higher bid, so basically, you can keep everything as is.
But you can also turn this into a way more complex test, because higher bid CAN bring totally different traffic, so in theory everything can perform differently now and you can retest LPs, sources, even offers. But for now, I would refrain from this and only do minor changes.

Thanks Eddie, did keep what you said in mind, but tell me this... why would I increase the frequency cap? Wouldn't this just cost me more on the same visitor since I already have a winning lander that has a CV rate of 3%?

Thanks Matuloo!
I ran it with 1 lander.. didnt want to use others since my lander is very promising.
Saying that..
So I did run a test last night.. went 1.6x my bid and carried on all options from the previous camp.
Here are the results:
Here is where I am now... I am thinking... does it make sense to bid like $4 cpm for a .5 offer? Should I move on to another offer and just auto pilot my lower bid?
Also, do you think its time to move to another traffic source?
What would you do at this point? Should I keep running this and make edits or its time I move to a better paying offer?
Btw my previous (lower bid camp) most profitable placement is still driving me most of the traffic but now since the rate is high, its showing a 1-5% ROI.
Not many new placements came into the picture since the test I ran 9 hours ago.
Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Up frequency cap = more volume less ROI. Usually I stay between 1/24 to 5/24.
Also test more landers. Your creatives are not an advantage. Probably a bunch of people running that same lander right now.
Popads is smart CPM so you're not paying 4CPM probably 1-2 or something, check.
Wiget has good Asian volume. Btw I think I might know what offer you're running send me a pm

I have decided to stop this offer as the advertiser is doing massive charge backs. I have yet to learn a lot more.
On to the next one
Will create a new follow along from scratch.
Thanks a lot Matuloo for the great tips.
Cheers!
