Is it advised to split wifi and carrier campaigns if you're doing app installs? (the offer accepts both)
The reason I ask is because my traffic rep told me if I lump Carrier and wifi I'm probably overpaying for wifi?
From my experience on smart CPM sources like popads it is fine to lump but on fixed bid sources like adCash, plugrush, propeller, etc. you will probably overpay for wifi.
I hope someone can jump in here and tell their experiences. I actually split my campaign between Wifi and Carrier today and noticed a drop in CVR overall.
I had a campaign doing well yesterday for iOS. I thought I wonder if I can get more advantage by separating my iOS campaign between Wifi and Carrier traffic.
Sometimes just branching out the campaigns may make it more expensive for you to run. But, perhaps maybe it just applies to this scenario. After running today's test, we can see that the bid rate is considerably higher than if I were to just target iOS. Since, I'm running a low payout offer less than $1.00. It doesn't make sense for me to target cellular unless I have a pin submit offer for it which I BELIEVE IT typically yields higher ROI.

Simon what traffic source. Like I said smartCPM traffic sources it's better to lump
PopAds. Let me see if I'm getting this correctly.
Smart CPM sources are using only the highest bid, meaning that even if you bid $100 CPM, the only real CPM you're going to pay is $1 because you're in the #1 position. But, if you're doing SmartCPM it's not necessary to split between Wifi and Cellular because Cellular tends to be much more expensive and Wifi is only a tad bit expensive. This is all based on the screenshot I shown above.
You're right on bro. My experiences has been the same. On propeller if I don't separate I pay too much but on popads it's not the case.
Hey Simon, I have the same problems like yours. I want to get wifi traffic actually, I cut cellular and all in sudden, the campaign cant get as much wifi traffic as before.
