I didn't choose the Native (ads) life, the Native life chose me.

Hello guys!!

Welcome to yet another nobelium follow along.

I'm already seeing some green with display campaigns (visit my other follow-alongs) but to keep expanding my knowledge, I have now entered the so very trendy "Native Ads".

I'm currently working via a DSP that allows for Native ads and my selected GEO has been ITALY. Tutto benne! Let's begin:

Offer: Horoscopes
Payout: 12$
Carriers: (Wind, TIM and H3G.)

I started the 15th of June with this new project as my AM recommended the Geo to me... I was a bit skeptical but she said we were definately ready to try a country like Italy.

Up until now I've targeted mostly TIM and Wind. H3G did not give me any conversions after 3-4 days... So I dropped them.

Currently:

Spent: 1,963.40$
Revenue: 2,592$
Profit: 628,6$

Native 1: CTR: 2.76% CVR: 0.44% Sign ups: 101
Native 2: CTR: 2.45% CVR: 0.40% Sign ups: 61
Native 3: CTR: 2.69% CVR: 0.52% Sign ups: 55

Today I've cut off Native 2... Created a WL for 3 placements that are achieving very low CPAs 2-4$.

I'm now looking for awesome tips like I got on my other threads or any great idea regarding Native ads, I'm completely new to them so it was a shot in the dark but with the help of my AM we started it off well...

Questions:

- I seem to be stuck on the same CPM (around 1.30$ - 1.60%) no matter what I put on the platform even if I put 5$ it just doesn't seem to increase. Any suggestions?

- What would be a good network to start this same campaign and hopefully scale it even more? I heard Outbrain are top for native ads.

- CTR is quite close as the adverts are very similar, they only change in logo and image but the text is the same for all. Would it be worth hiring a copywriter to get some new texts in Italian? Google translate is alright but it may not be the right way to communicate to the Italian audience.

- Also, Do any of you use Adplexity native ads spy tool ? If that's the case, would you recommend it ?

OK, well, I think that's enough to start a discussion guys, thanks for reading as always!

PS: If you are attending Berlin I'd love to meet up with people from the forum! Message me!
