Scale Strategies for Campaigns on Pops

Hey guys,

I'm running a sweepstake camp and doing good ROI but low/medium volume on Pop Traffic (I'm on the most common TRs, PopAds, AdCash, ZeroPark, DNTX)

What do you advise to scale in terms of Traffic Sources? Should I go for banner display networks like Go2Mobi and Decisive?
Should I try propeller ads? I saw their bid it's like 10x higher than what I have, wondering why so expensive.
Exoclick?

Or should I just start subscribing everywhere I can get my hands on and try make it profitable?

Could you recommend Traffic sources?

When is the right time to ask for a pay bump? How much percentage of raise do they usually give you? Or it's a negotiation between you and AM? If so what's usually the margin you can negotiate?

Thanks for any replies

Cheers,
Andre

Definitely try propeller, I had good results with them. You didn't list popcash, are you there too?

Scaling to display sources is a good idea too, just don't go to decisive, they are done. Go2mobi or avazu are two good DSPs to use now for example.

Exoclick has some pops, thats true and so do all major adult sources. So in case you can use adult traffic, check this post of mine, there is a list at the bottom : http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-ADULT-Traffic

Pay bumps can be tricky but they can definitely help, I have written a post about it too. It's related to dating but you might still find it useful, check it out : http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...what-to-expect

Try Propeller's managed CPA/CPL offering. Set your test budget to $100 and ask for reports regularly because otherwise they could make a loss and charge you for it. If its profitable for them, you only pay for the leads which can work out better. They also know what zones work for what types of offers so they can optimise from the get-go. Make sure to pass zone id so you can check what's working and what isn't on your side.

Scaling to display is definitely a good idea too. Millenial Media (now called 1 by AOL) is amazing but you need to be very careful as they're quite strict. If you can get a sweeps offer up and running on there you're in for some great profits.

And while I'm here, I'd like to ask if anyone has any experience with SiteScout RTB. I'm thinking of scaling with it. How does it compare to the other DSPs?

Recently tried scaling an AU offer to Propeller and barely got any Android traffic at all when bidding super high, which is interesting.
