Hey guys
I'm an affiliate for about 1 1/2 years,doing ok so far on adult&sweeps .
I noticed a thing that bugs me for quite some time : you hit a good offer and are doing good numbers for few days, then, you ask your AM for a bump, right ? I got one 90% of the times i asked for one, not much, but it's an extra ROI,right ? Well..not always..again,90% of the times i got a bump, the CR of the offer dropped a lot, some to a point that it didn't make me any monies..
So i started wondering : is there a shaving little(bigger) bugger that kicks in once one gets a bump ? Most,if not all networks are shaving, but ,in my case, once i get a bump, it all just falls to pieces..
Anyone else felt the same?
thankx
Might have got the wrong section of the forum..moderators,please feel free to move it to the proper one
Sorry
Some people are reporting situations like this, but it's hard to speculate. If they always did this, they would be loosing business, so I think there is more to it. I received bumps many times, sometimes I went on to push the offer for months, sometimes it crashed just as you described. I believe there are many more reasons for an offer to die other than shaving - saturation, burnout, bad days, competition ... But of course, I'm sure some networks could be doing this
