50k/month Facebook business shut down by Facebook
Hey guys,
So I have a Facebook page in the conservative niche that was pretty much my main business until Facebook shut it down last night out of the blue. Apparently they unpublished the page because it was posting content that was "against community standards," even though the content my writers create is exactly the same as similar pages like Conservative Tribune, Western Journalism, Mad World News, etc. I would even say the content isn't even as extreme as what those sites post.
I've been given the option to appeal, but if the appeal is denied for some reason, the page will be deleted permanently. So I'd prefer to speak with someone at Facebook directly if that's even an option.
So my question is, does anyone here that spends big on FB have a rep or some other kind of contact that I could get in touch with?

For the most part you'll need to appeal and go through the regular channels, and just be very cautious with wording.
I would also try the advertiser support channel as well. I would ask for more information on why it got pulled, e.g. complaints on posts and negative feedback. Basically act completely innocent and unsure of what happened, and be clear that you want to address any issues not destroy your community.
So far their support has gotten a lot better - for me at least, seems like you are more likely to get an intelligent human being on the other end.
To the best of my knowledge most reps people know can no longer intervene on random accounts they have no jurisdiction over, depends on the contact I suppose.
Getting them on the phone is extremely unlikely, in fact I'd say its just not going to happen unless you already have their contact info.

At 50k/month you should lawyer up if all the other avenues failed to yield results, IMO.

I've literally tried all avenues, and still no reply from Facebook regarding why they shut down the page. Completely ridiculous. Yesterday they were kind enough to top it all off by banning my personal account for 1 month as well. Fuck Facebook.

Many people have reps, but don't expect ANYONE to give their contact to you. Reps are like golden treasures.

Yeah that's what I figured.

sadly true.
That's why I always try to diversify buying FB accounts and having multiple companies with different credit cards. Try to not spent more than 2k/day and increase budgets gradually. Even better if you don't buy for US.

multi accounts backup is necessary for FB campaigns. You don't know when your accounts get banned.

OP says he got his whole FB page blocked. If I understand correctly, he built quite the audience on that page, which was used to drive 'organic' traffic to an accompanied site where the monetisation happened.
He could have had a dozen spare fb ad accounts ready, but these couldn't have fixed the issue here.
Good luck reviving your page, mate. Keep appealing!

Wooooow, that is a super strict rule. Do they really follow this?
I often get some huge pages banned on instagram, which is owned by facebook. I just spam the support form 3 times a day and eventually they bring them back.

Yes, they really follow this, and usually with no response back. My page was deleted one day after I appealed. Apparently you can still get it back after deletion though, contrary to what they say. Thankfully I was able to a hold of a rep at Facebook, so it looks like I may be able to get it back up.

Goodluck. Keep us posted with outcome.

Yet another time the vivid proof that you shouldn't build a business that is 100% dependant on facebook (or any other third party you can't control). One day you wake up and they decided out of the blue to delete your page, for whatever reason. Best is to diversify your media buying efforts and work with different traffic sources so that you never become (too) dependent on one single source.
Of course, in the short term, when doing 50K/month on FB you're gonna do whatever is within your power to get it back live - fingers crossed it works out for you mate! I really hope it does. In the long term, try to diversify and make Facebook a smaller part of your total revenue pie.
Dont get me wrong im not saying to deliberatly lower your revenues with facebook - on the contrary, try to grow and milk it as hard as you can. Im saying you should decrease the RELATIVE part of FB in your total revenue pie by starting to work/scale with other sources as well.

Facebook absolutely hates conservative stuff, good luck with reclaiming the page though, I'm interested in the outcome of this

did they give you any feedback on the reason for the banning? I would suspect many people didn't take kindly to the content were reporting the site/pages...

Yeah, we were actually coming up with a plan to effectively capture emails before they shut us down. The issue with my niche is that there's really no other way to diversify other than building up and email list, and that can take years. Some guys just build up other pages, but all in all you're still at the mercy of Mark Fuckerturd.

No feedback at all. I've emailed support like 50 times since the deletion, and still haven't heard a word.
I actually think the page was deleted by mistake. Facebook supposedly just implemented a new algorithm that can detect extremist videos and remove them. Way back in January I posted a video of an ISIS speech (no violence in the video) that went somewhat viral, and was even re-shared by Glen Beck. A few days before my page was deleted, the video went super-viral again out of nowhere and garnered about 8M views in one day. I think their new algo picked it up and thought I was promoting terrorism lol. Who knows though, maybe they were just waiting for an excuse to fuck me over.

I might know an effective method to build you an email list fast. Send me a pm.
