Great summary Charles, although a heads up ~ SocialAdNinja is no longer maintained.

Its of no importance per se, just a personal curiosity, spurred by the cheesiness of the facial expression used on the clip-art.
I believe such cheesiness could be produced only by an Indian designer, since they like to draw happy people due to their cultural upbringing.
While the clip-art is at first glance reminiscent of the 1900-1930's design and thus could be attributed to a designer from any country, on closer inspection this does not hold true. It is hard to explain it in words.

I merely wish to know is my assessment of the clipart correct , which would then also confirm my broader theory that Indians in general are happier than other nations and this reflects in their drawings.

I hope I answered your question.

This is awesome Charles! As a former graphic designer I really appreciate the use of colour to differentiate between different points and the hierarchy of info *nerd* Also, great advice as well!

It was made by an Indian design firm.

Interesting observation. I think it did start off as clipart, but I asked for a lot of changes for the avatar to look more like me.

We'll be making more infographics in the upcoming months and testing out different agencies.
